This policy explains how AI Racing ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our website or buy a membership. We are the data controller for the information described below.

1. What information we collect

We keep this to the minimum needed to deliver your membership:

• Account and order details: your name, email address and billing details provided at checkout, plus the plan you bought and the date of purchase.
• Payment information: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Communications: messages you send us, such as support requests or refund requests.
• Technical data: basic information your browser sends when you visit the site, such as IP address, device type and pages viewed, used for security and to keep the site running.

2. How we use it

• To deliver your membership by sending your daily selections to your email address (legal basis: performing our contract with you).
• To take payment and keep records, including issuing refunds and meeting tax and accounting obligations (contract and legal obligation).
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests (contract and legitimate interests).
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud or misuse (legitimate interests).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

3. Emails you receive from us

Your membership includes a daily email with that day's selections. These are service messages and are part of what you've bought. If we send you any marketing email beyond that, we will only do so with your consent, and every such email will include an unsubscribe link. You can stop marketing emails at any time without affecting your membership.

4. Who we share it with

We only share information with the service providers who help us run AI Racing, and only what they need to do their job:

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Our email delivery provider Email Octopus to send your selections.
• Netlify for website hosting.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid request from a court or regulator. Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy arrangements.

5. Cookies

This site uses only the cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for it to work. If we later add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages to prevent fraud; these are covered by Stripe's own policies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and order details for as long as your membership is active and for up to 6 years afterwards, which is the period we are required to keep financial records and the period in which legal claims can be brought. Support messages are kept for up to 2 years. After that, we delete or anonymise the information.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• have inaccurate information corrected;
• have your information erased, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
• restrict or object to our processing of your information;
• receive your information in a portable format; and
• withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limiting access to those who need it. No online service can be completely secure, but we will tell you and the ICO about any breach where we are required to.

9. Age restriction

AI Racing is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change, we will tell members by email.
